PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LEIGH LANE, HALSTOCK

Consultation document ref: IRD029.21, dated 24th December 2021

PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF LEIGH LANE, HALSTOCK

I have received an application from Openreach to close LEIGH LANE, HALSTOCK between Church Street and Mill Lane, a distance of approximately 150 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Openreach to clear blockages. These works are programmed to commence between 0800 and 1700 from 14 February 2022 until 16 February 2022.

Openreach will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.

This document is for information only, however if you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact Izzy Rowland, (trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk) by 30 January 2022
