PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF COURT HILL, CORSCOMBE

Consultation document, dated: 04 May 2022 Ref: IRD 053.22,

PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF COURT HILL, CORSCOMBE

I have received an application from Wessex Water to close COURT HILL, CORSCOMBE between its junction with Pound Hill and its junction with Court Lane, a distance of approximately 100 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Wessex Water to carry out a new connection. These works are programmed to commence from 13 June 2022 until 15 June 2022.

Wessex Water will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.

This document is for information only, however if you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact Izzy Rowland, (trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk) by 29 May 2022.
