PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF A356, CHEDINGTON

I have received an application from Multevo Ltd to close A356, CHEDINGTON between its junction with Pretty Box Lane and its junction with Village Road, a distance of approximately 390 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Multevo Ltd to carry

out carriageway maintenance to include kerbing, signposts and iron works. These works are programmed to commence between 0930 and 1530 on 02 April 2024.

Multevo Ltd will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.
