TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF FORD LANE, CORSCOMBE
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along FORD LANE, CORSCOMBE in its entirety, a distance of approximately 505 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 09 January 2025 and remain in force for 18 months.
This Order is required for health and safety reasons due to a landslip.
On this occasion there will be no specified alternative route for diverted traffic.
