PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C37, CORSCOMBE
PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C37, CORSCOMBE
I have received an application from Crestmoor Construction to close C37, CORSCOMBE between Stable Cottage and Old Mill House, a distance of approximately 55 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Crestmoor to carry out urgent structural retaining wall replacement works. These works are programmed to commence from 03 March 2025 until 03 August 2025.
From 31 March 2025 until 11 April 2025 the closure will be between Stable Cottage and Corscombe Court Cottage, a distance of approximately 800 metres to allow Hardy Tree Surgeons Limited to work in collaboration with Crestmoor Construction.
Crestmoor Construction will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.
This document is for information only, however if you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact Izzy Rowland, (trafficteam@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk) by 17 February 2025.
