TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF C37, CORSCOMBE
DORSET COUNCIL has made an Order under Section 14 [1] of the Road Traffic Regulations Act 1984 as amended. All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along C37, CORSCOMBE between Stable Cottage and Old Mill House, a distance of approximately 55 metres. The Order is needed in order to comply with health and safety regulations which require the provision of safe working areas and to minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users. It will come into operation on 03 March 2025 and will remain in force for 18 months, however it is anticipated that the works will be completed by 03 August 2025.
From 31 March 2025 until 11 April 2025 the closure will be between Stable Cottage and Corscombe Court Cottage, a distance of approximately 800 metres to allow Hardy Tree Surgeons Limited to work in collaboration with Crestmoor Construction.
This Order will enable Crestmoor Construction, safe access to carry out urgent structural retaining wall replacement works.
The alternative route, which will be sign posted is as follows; Court Hill – A356 – C132 – Corscombe Road
