Corscombe Trail Races 2027

Corscombe Trail Races 2027 will take place on Saturday 12 June 2027 alongside the Corscombe Village Fête. The event will offer an approximately 11 km trail race and a 5 km trail race through the rolling West Dorset countryside, using a mixture of fields, tracks, footpaths and village lanes. The combined adult field will be limited to 200 runners, keeping the event deliberately small, friendly and rooted in the village.

The aim is to make the finish part of the day rather than simply the point where runners leave: competitors will return into the village event hub and be encouraged to stay for the fête, local food and drink, stalls, music and prizegiving. The event is being organised as a community fundraiser, with proceeds intended to support local causes including Corscombe Village Hall and Church, Little Acorns Preschool and FOSSA after event costs and agreed reserves. Entries will be managed through Eventrac once final permissions, insurance and operational arrangements are complete.
