PROPOSED TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF HACKNEY, CORSCOMBE

I have received an application from Knighton Countryside Management to close HACKNEY, CORSCOMBE between its junction with A356 and Linhay Lodges, a distance of approximately 840 metres. The closure has been requested to allow Knighton Countryside Management to carry out essential tree safety works. These works are programmed to commence between 0800 until 1700 from 01 June 2026 until 05 June 2026.

Knighton Countryside Management will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The following map shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.
